* Replaceable wool ingestion shields prevent wool from being sucked into the unit and blocking the tool
* Pop off brushes protect the armature from damage at the end of brush life resulting in greater motor life
* No volt release switch will prevent the unit from starting when plugged in, even if the switch is in the on position. Switch must be consciously reset before power is delivered
* Large spindle lock button allows easy changing of the backing pad
* Variable speed trigger allows the user to control the speed of the unit by adjusting the force applied to the switch
